Drink Dispenser Tank

Description

Ok so... I didn't have room for my 10 gallon I had Pearl in (wait have I ever uploaded Pearl? She's beautiful!) So I came up with this solution... so i didn't have to bring a syphon or anything with me.
It's somewhere between 2.5-3 gallons (It was labeled as 2.5, but I can get more than that in lol my water change bucket is 2.5 gallons and it fits well over that.) so it's decent. It's heated and has a big sponge filter (same one as from her 10 gallon bc I was too lazy to buy a small one and cycle it) but unfortunately all of my cool colourful silk plants (my 10 gallon had 6 huge ones it was a silk plant jungle!) don't fit on account of the big filter and everything, so it's just got one plant and her alien-skull hide.
I custom "cut" (it looks terrible) the lid and I'm using a light from an old 3 gallon tank I had (I would have used that but it's very scratched up and I was never a big fan of it) and it works.
I was worried about how Pearl would adjust but she adjusted to moving way better than me! Handled the car ride like a champ, and demanded food right after she got settled in (she was happy and swimming around, she's the best fish I've had that way though she doesn't stress ever!) and after 6 weeks in it, she's still doing really well.

OK SO TANK VERDICT: If you don't have the room for a big fish tank a tiny one would be fine, but this is actually great for a betta (maybe a singular guppy, but nothing else as it's not large enough) and makes water changes a BREEZE! I think it looks pretty cool myself, you might think it's tacky and that's cool lol but it's an easy maintenance and it's definitely different than most other fish tanks. I wouldn't go smaller than mine, unless you want to be changing water every other day because uncycled tanks inevitably reek havoc on betta fins but if you're changing the water very frequently (at least 3 times a week) it shouldn't be an issue.
MY biggest beef with this particular dispenser is the damn rippled edges, it warps the view of my beauty and that gets annoying, especially when i want to take a picture of her. No leakage on the dispenser part yet but I am keeping an eye out, if that happens I'll be sealing it shut with sealant and get myself a syphon!
So yeah, don't have a lot of space or worse yet, moving to college? These are p cool imo

Pearl's old tank has been inherited by my 8 year old sister's betta, Shimmer. Her tank had been in our living room and despite being cycled it had an algae problem absolutely out of control, so I drained and cleaned it and put it in storage, and now Shimmer has moved into my sister's room (with no direct sunlight ever). I taught my sister how to do water changes and vacuum the tank and she's been doing a good job. Shimmer has had a plethora of health issues (popeye, ick, fungal infections, swim bladder problems) and I really don't get it because she's never had water issues, I guess it could be bad genetics or something else but she's been doing well in her tank! It's been 3 weeks since she moved in and I'm not sure how long she'll get to enjoy it (she's around 20 months old.. got her 15 months ago and she was full grown)
